The Royal Society of Edinburgh (RSE), as Scotland’s National Academy, has taken a considerable interest in the development of science strategy in Scotland. It launched the idea of a distinctive Scottish science strategy in 1999 in its report on Devolution and Science, and has published many subsequent reports and organised conferences and discussion meetings relevant to the issue. The Society welcomes the latest Scottish Government strategy document, Science for Scotland. Click here to read briefing paper produced to offer further information to MSPs . |
